Announcing the Retirement of Steve Ellis, Director, Field Services

Steve’s first day at Lee C. Moore was 01 September 1988, more than 31 years ago. His resignation notice to Lee C. Moore, A Woolslayer Company (LCM-WCI) is below:

It’s been an incredible journey filled with opportunity afforded to me by the company. Thanks to Lee C. Moore, I’ve worked with some of the most talented and interesting people, made life-long friends, traveled in 44 countries, attended hundreds of field projects, met countless customers, and accumulated nearly 3 million air miles of travel. What a ride!

My initial plans are to do some hiking. “Basically I’m just gonna walk the earth …You know, like Kane in Kung Fu. Walk from place to place, meet people, get in adventures …till God puts me where he wants me to be.” (reference Pulp Fiction) There are also friends around the country that I’d like to visit, and a few hobby projects to complete at home. I will continue to work for the Tulsa Police Department. God is clearly calling me into the next exciting chapter of life.

The LCM service department is in good hands with Elly Guess PE, Manager, Field Services as I leave. Thank you for allowing the transition and training we’ve done in the last few weeks.  It’s been a privilege and honor to work at Lee C. Moore. Please write or call anytime I can help with a business or personal matter of any kind.

All of us @ LCM-WCI wish Steve a safe and satisfying journey.

May God Bless Him with each step …

Sincerely, Melissa D. Herring, Sr. Vp., Operations
