Mitch Koster began his career with LCM-WCI in 1996. He started out in a temporary position and became a full-time employee a year later. Koster recalls, “I started at the bottom of the totem pole, so to speak—doing whatever needed to be done from assembling parts to cleaning up the warehouse to shipping.”
Koster works at the Port of Catoosa facility and has done so for his entire career with Lee C. Moore, with the exception of a being an onsite technician with the Automatic Pipe Racker project, where he worked remotely in Texas.
Currently, Koster manages a crew in the Material Handling area of the company as he has done for the past six years.
In his time outside of work, Koster has a passion for giving back to his community. He regularly donates blood platelets at the Red Cross and he is involved with the Make A Wish Foundation out of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Another passion of Koster’s is helping adoptees find their biological parents through DNA analysis and records. Koster is an adoptee himself and recently found his birth father in Iceland.
