Chris comes to LCM-WCI with 23+ years of experience for other successful engineering and drilling companies. As VP of Engineering, he will oversee bringing a renewed focus to the importance of quality design, development and diversification of the Lee C. Moore product line. Lee C. Moore, President Jason Gress expressed confidence that Haist is a huge asset, saying: “The hiring of Chris corresponds with Lee C. Moore’s growth strategy, that is of bringing people with solid experience and expertise in their fields. The fact that Chris is smart and dedicated to his work combined with his recently obtained MBA from Texas A&M, makes him a great fit for the team.” Chris has held several management positions in the industry. While in these positions he has overseen the development of engineered product lines, maintained and enhanced quality management systems, provided project management services to a wide variety of international clients and oversaw third party engineering resources, ensuring compliance with contract design requirements while meeting target project deadlines in a cost effective manner. In line with the Lee C. Moore growth plan, Haist will be instrumental in the company’s key partnerships with affiliates internationally as well as with his local team of PEs. In addition to his past work experience, Chris served in the Navy, and was recalled to active duty after acceptance to Texas A&M University for an operation in Desert Storm, making him a Gulf War veteran. Chris is married and has three children. In his off time he enjoys traveling abroad with his wife and looks forward to putting down roots in the Tulsa area.
