Norris Myers has been with LCM-WCI for more than 20 years. He started his career as a file clerk. As he demonstrated his desire for growth and willingness to learn as much as he could, he became a quality manager. A few years later, he entered the position that he currently holds—Coordinator, Projects and Quotations. His primary responsibility is in estimating and small projects lead. Myers holds an associate’s degree from Tulsa Community College in Quality Control Technologies.
Most of the projects that come through LCM-WCI pass through Myers’ desk. He has a tremendous understanding of what each project needs and will coordinate it accordingly. Many times, he sees the project from “cradle to grave”—the entire process from planning to delivery. With hundreds of products, his knowledge of them proves to be invaluable.
Myers, with his wife of 11 years and their children, reside in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. In his time outside the office, he spends much of it coaching his children’s sports teams. “Family is my passion,” says Myers, “I want to spend my life pouring everything I can into my children.” He particularly enjoys youth football and basketball.
Myers brings his “team spirit” and coaching philosophy into the workplace as well. His competitive nature translates into doing everything he does with excellence. His motto is: “Winning isn’t everything, but wanting to win is.”
